Gather and Grow’s mission is to love and support children, parents, families, and caregivers. We are a state-licensed childcare center actively working to provide a nurturing community in which children feel safe, respected and seen as they explore and experience the world around them. We build relationships with parents and caregivers so we can help the whole family grow and thrive. 

Established in 2019, we have intentionally limited the size of our center so that you and your kids can be known in a family-like atmosphere. Providing care for up to 20 preschool-age and 10 school-age children allows us to build long-term relationships with children and families that last for years, even after students have left the center.

We believe that childcare is about more than providing a safe and engaging environment. It also means supporting the whole family. At Gather and Grow, we want to create a sense of community and connection among our children, families, and staff that reaches into the wider community. 

Our hours of operation are 6:30am - 5:30pm, allowing us to support working families, providing a sense of security and stability for their children. Our leadership is passionate about creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere that fosters social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development from the moment students walk through the doors and lasts until they leave at the end of the day.

Every day, your child will have both structured and unstructured play time, because children learn best through play. During “circle time,” our teachers engage children through song and movement before teaching a lesson tied to a monthly theme. Kids learn about apples, thankfulness, fire safety, polar animals and much more through stories and what we call “school work.” Breakfast, lunch, snacks, and naps help little bodies recover as they play to learn and energize them for time in our secure outdoor playground.

Throughout the day, you’ll receive updates about your child through the Brightwheel parent engagement app, including snapshots delivered securely to your mobile device. We also use Brightwheel to check your child in and out of the center, and manage all of your paperwork and finances. A picture of your child having fun on the playground with their friends can make the work day a bit more bearable.
