“There are people that I meet and see every day and I can watch their lives improve simply because they're being loved and supported.”

Housing

The U.S. is experiencing an affordable housing crisis that is affecting both renters and buyers. In Washington state, there are only 28 affordable and available rental homes for every 100 extremely low-income households. Gather coordinates several programs to help you find, afford, and stay in affordable rental housing.

Community Behavioral Health Rental Assistance (CBRA)
The CBRA program provides a long-term rental subsidy for high-risk individuals and households with behavioral health conditions. The state of Washington is investing over 11 million dollars in subsidizing rent for the most vulnerable members of our community. As a CBRA provider, Gather is able to advocate for and help people in Lewis County live independently in communities of their choice. With stable housing, clients are more able to take advantage of services and referrals. For information on how the CBRA program can assist you, contact Jessica at jessicaq@gatherchurch.com.

Foundational Community Support
